Short Course in Men's Hairdressing
The short courses The
Diplomat is offering are in thirteen hour blocks, having up to four stages to achieve the results to be a great men's
hairdresser.
Stage 1 will bring in
layering techniques for long medium and short hair layering. This stage is an easy way to ease back into cutting and blow
drying. This is a must do stage.
Stage 2
will bring in scissors and clipper over comb techniques used in cutting men's hair. This technique will be a lot harder
and may require more then one lesson. It will be bring in tapering and blending techniques required to do short haircuts.
The stages are run over two days at 6.5 hrs per day or over four nights at 3hrs.
Stage 3
This stage is for ladies and men who were in hairdressing and wish to re-enter the hairdressing industry
as men's hairdressers. This stage covers a-z techniques in barbering.
The course consists of the following basic techniques.
a) Club cutting increase, decrease and uniform layering.
b) Blow drying and blow waving.
This course will be run by Don Scali and Nick Scali.
Don's hairdressing history is as follows:
1. Taught short courses in men's hairdressing at tafe.
2. Taught for OLI Cert 3 mens.
3. Been in the hairdressing industry since 1967.
4. Owner of The Diplomat chain.
5. Muliti
award winner in the 1980's and 1990's.
6. Trained
many apprentices that were Qld Champions in Junior and Seniors.
The Diplomat has the knowledge to deliver. The Diplomat will supply one
to two male head blocks for each stage.
Models
will be supplied by you when you have reached the highest stage in the course.
